Meet the Team
James Edward Best is the author and founder of Best Story Alive—a passionate team dedicated to producing “Fun Stories for Living & Learning”.
“Education is fundamental for a happy, balanced life,” James says, “and reading is foundational.” Toward this end, proceeds from Best Story Alive go, in part, to support educational pursuits, such as the Helen M. Butts Endowed Scholarship, awarded to students of Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Emily Lynch Victory is a painter and illustrator enthusiastic about pattern. With degrees in both mathematics and fine art, she loves combining the two. Originally from Minnesota, Emily currently lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband and three young, energetic, book-loving boys.
